Our Simple & Safe Guidelines These guidelines are the heart of our community. They are designed to create a space where everyone feels safe, respected, and free to be themselves.
1. Respect Everyone's Personal Expression, Without Exception. We celebrate personal style, dance moves, and the unique energy each person brings. However, this respect has a crucial boundary: There is absolutely no room for hate. This includes: Hate Speech: Using language that demeans, insults, or attacks anyone based on their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other identity. Hate Symbols: Displaying symbols, logos, or flags associated with hate groups or ideologies is prohibited. This space is not for individuals or groups who promote hatred or violence. If you are part of a hate group, you are not welcome here. Our goal is to be a sanctuary, and we will take immediate action against any behavior that compromises that safety.
2. Consent Must Be Unanimous. This is a non-negotiable rule. Any physical contact—from a dance partner to a friendly hug—requires clear, enthusiastic, and mutual agreement from everyone involved. If you are unsure, the answer is no. This rule applies to everyone, all the time.
3. Take Care of Yourself and Others. This is a community, and we look out for one another. Pace yourself, stay hydrated, and take breaks when you need them. If you see someone who looks unwell, lost, or uncomfortable, please check in on them or find a staff member. A safe community is an active one.
4. Come Prepared to Sweat. This is a high-energy space where we leave our worries behind and let loose. Wear comfortable clothes, bring your positive energy, and get ready to dance your heart out.
5. We are21+ with Proper ID This is a legal requirement. Please have your valid, government-issued ID ready at the door.
